Hi, my name is Simon Pountney-Langham and I have been writing code for… well, a long time (let’s just say I can remember loading Manic Minor on my Sinclair Spectrum 48K and typing POKE…).

More recently, the last 15 years or so, I have been involved in the wonderful world wide web. Throughout my career the thing that I have loved the most is that tomorrow I could be doing something completely different to the project I’m working on today. That for me is the joy of building things for the web, each project is different, each client has different needs and things move very FAST!!

The main focus of my site was meant to be business people who are looking to gain a better understanding of the IT world, specifically the internet. However I have now decided to keep this as a personal blog so have moved my business and technical blog entries to my work site: www.amiys.co.uk

So this will now be a personal blog covering… well probably whatever random thoughts pop into my head to be honest but all are welcome.
